THE OUT TAKES:
As usual ill start my blog post off with a sorry I’ve not been blogging, that phrase is getting to be quite a habit lately! I’ve been really busy! Super-duper busy! I’ve started work at an incredible new brand Prey of London (AMAZING but more on that another day) I’ve been blogging for THE GIRL WHO STOLE VINTAGE (posts coming soon) photographing, documenting, writing, practicing and rehearsing with the band I sing in (I sing a lot too, but more on that another day) sorting out/re-jigging my blog and sourcing, thrifting and finding new stock for my online marketplace boutique GIRL.STOLE.VINTAGE, oh and looking after Elvis Batdog Longbody. Safe to say I’ve been pretty busy.
I have a ton of new stock live on the GIRL.STOLE.VINTAGE at the minute new re-worked denim, studs, bleaching, dying, and all perfect for when the sun comes back out!! and prefect for holiday wear. I love re-worked vintage, not only does it have its own story, being vintage in the first place, its then taken on a little revamp journey, dyed or studded and brought back to life, with a little extra attitude, anyone else think like that?….just me then.
I have a new range of vintage army style jackets and coats, these my friends are genius I’ve had one for years now I bought from brick lane and I wear it with absolutely everything, last weekend I went on a bike ride in possibly the girliest dress I own, it looked like Kath Kidson had spewed up on it, but paired with my parka it chilled it all out a bit, they look great with denim, maxi dresses and skirts, vintage dresses, and leather. Also the weather changing its mind every second it’s a really easy throw over!
Onto my blog, I was so bored of it! Bored of tumblr, felt my blog wasn’t ‘real’ unless it was on blogger, but I’m gonna stick where I am for a while, I’ve added some new bits, got a new header and added the dreaded COMMENT BOX (please be kind) ill change over someday soon maybe but not until I find the time to do a whole web re-design…anyways enough rambling, I hope you like the new blog and all our new vintage stock!
