Right here goes! Finally I’m posing my COACHELLA post! Since I got back from California it’s been all about GIRL.STOLE.VINTAGE, new stock, shoots, my Jubilee edit, the blog has been jam packed with vintage! And this post definitely deserves its own space, it’s huge! It’s gone from 230 pictures to 69 to 43, and it’s only my Coachella post, I’ve LA, Hollywood and my outfit posts to come!

I’ve absolutely also got to mention that half the photos on this post have been taken by the lovely Lauren from ITLT my camera was stolen in LA and all my photos with it, so this is a collective of Laurens photography skills and my IPhone! (Thank god I snapped away all day) so BIG LOVES to her for helping me and catching the photos I had stolen!

Coachella was INCREDIBLE there were four of us on the trip, myself Lauren, Eniola and Donya, the girls had went out to LA first, me and Lauren joined a couple of days later, then we began our journey to palm springs to tackle the famous Coachella Festival!

The festival is actually in a place called Indio but we stayed at the Shilo Inn, Palm Springs. Cute hotel, cheesy decor but the rooms were huge, the staff extra helpful and friendly, we had a pool, we were 2 minutes from the supermarkets and we were right in front of the stunning mountains, I loved it and massively recommend this place if you’re looking for something more affordable.

Coachella its self is a beautiful festival, bang in the middle of the desert it’s hard to believe it’s actually there if that makes sense? The first day was definitely overwhelming, 39 degrees not a single gust of wind, it was baking. By the time I’d got from the bus to the actual festival gates I was roasting hot, sweating, along with being massively jet lagged, I was wondering how I’d make it through the day, once day one was out the way though I eventually got used to the baking heat!

The drinking areas are separate, so no booze in the areas you watch the bands in, at first this pissed me off a little but actually it ended up being quite nice having ten mins here and there, taking shade and downing frozen margaritas. The setting is just stunning, once the sun goes down about 5pm the sky goes an amazing purple pink color and you look around at it all a little bewildered, definitely beats muddy fields and grey skies!

The music was amazing, Noel Gallagher made my day singing old Oasis songs, Swedish House Mafia put on the best show! Their laser/light show they done looked stunning in the night sky and their set rivaled the set I watched last year in Ibiza.  My favorite two bands of the whole festival Madness and Kasabian put on brilliant shows the crowds loved it. Not forgetting the set of the whole weekend Snoop Dog, Dr Dre and TUPAC!!!! It was insane! Absolutely mental watching the hologram, and a little creepy actually, But amazing all the same!  The only bad thing I  could say is that sometimes the atmosphere gets a bit boring, this, dare I say spoiled the Arctic Monkeys and Florence And The Machine for me a bit, its definitely not jump around and go crazy like it is at the British festivals, the whole festival is ALOT more chilled.

I’ve fell massively in love with Coachella and I’ll definitely be going back next year, so I better reign in the shopping and get saving my pennies for my next Coachella Festival adventure!
