I’m Wearing: Dress; collectif, shoes; Vivienne Westwood Melissa, Bag; GIRL.STOLE.VINTAGE, hair by Olivia who saved the day and my usual make up look, black flicked liner and red lips!

Our new special edition jubilee screen print from the PREFAB boys, taking pride of place in the front room where it will be staying! Love it!

So how did everyone’s jubilee celebrations go? I don’t know about you but I’m super sad the weekend is all over and my flat is now bunting free. To honour our queen I decided to throw a 1950’s themed jubilee bash at our new flat, our new place is pretty big and has a roof terrace so with the hot weather we had a week before last I thought it would be a grand idea to throw a party. But like most things that you plan there were things that went wrong, the weather being one of them! And Sunday of my party the heavens opened for most of the day.
Not to be deterred I sent the swede out to find a gazebo Sunday morning while myself and my cousin Olivia covered the flat in a as many flags and as much bunting as we could, prepared cucumber sandwiches, strawberry’s and crème, pork pies, cake, British nibbles a huge pimms punch, vodka jellies and gin, fizz cocktails. The BBQ didn’t have quite the same feel to it in the pouring rain but never mind, a few hours into the party and no one was quite bothered due to the amount of alcohol getting consumed!
For the occasion I wore a 1950’s style rockabilly dress I got from a shop in Covent Garden called collectif I actually bough the dress a couple of years ago to wear to ascot and have never worn it since, it’s one of those dresses hanging in my wardrobe I can’t quite part with so I’m happy I got to wear it again this weekend! I paired it with my Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes, again an item of mine I’ve only worn once, but matched my outfit perfectly, my bag is from my own GIRL.STOLE.VINTAGE collection and my hair was put up my cousin Olivia who is currently training at tony and guy to be a hairdresser, she pinned her own hair up and styled Laurens too! Super talented lady!
All the ladies and the gents looked fab and even batdog got involved, so a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who came along!
