From Brixton to Clapham to Camden and Back.
So my bank holiday plans ended up being a bit mish mashed this weekend. Due to a house party that lasted well into Saturday morning my plans of a whole day vintage shopping on Saturday afternoon just didn’t happen, but never the less I still had a brilliant weekend!

Secret Buy’s from The Secret Store!
So last night I got myself down to Topshop’s secret ‘pop up’ store, and it was fantastic! A little pathway of flowers and birds that were stuck to the floor, led the way to the secret store, tucked away at the back of the shop. The entrance is covered with real flowers in beautifully painted pots for you to buy. The little store itself is set up like an old fashioned living room with...

So everyone must have watched Lilly Allen rags to riches? Yes? No? Well you should have! She and her sister Sarah Owen filmed a documentary about the process and struggles that came with the setting up of their new vintage clothing shop Lucy in Disguise. I was an avid watcher of the 3 part...
Topshop’s Secret Store.....
I am excited; first of all because Topshop is my favourite high street shop of all!! I LOVE IT, and secondly because their flagship shop on London’s Oxford Street has opened a Secret Store today! The Store is a florist themed ‘pop up store’ designed and by Meadham Kirchhoff. Hidden behind a curtain of floral arrangements designed by the pair, is an assortment of beautifully created one off...
A Drunken Day in Soho.
Last Saturday I spent a day drinking in the sun with old uni friends around Soho. But again, before I left the house I had a dilemma of what to wear because my wardrobe at the minute is MASSIVELY getting on my nerves. One thing in there that kept telling me to wear it was a cream, long-sleeved vintage dress with huge blue printed flowers on it. But everytime I’ve tried it on since buying it, I...
The Rocker Marries the Model.
So another celebrity wedding, but this time a little different than the usual spread in OK Mag. This was the marriage of Caleb Followhill of Kings of Leon to his bride to be Super Model Lilly Aldridge at California’s San Ysirdo Ranch. I actually always saw myself marrying Caleb Followhill (really) after KOL first album was released, the hairy rocker with the sexiest voice around instantly gave...
Kate Moss.
Kate Moss is one of my, if not my favourite fashion model out of them all. The Supers had ‘IT’ Claudia, Naomi, Cindy, Linda but then along came Kate Moss, beautiful waifish and most of all super cool. One of the most beautiful faces I’ve sever seen, young fresh and totally different, she paved the way for many new models after her and led the ultimate rock and roll lifestyle.
A new...
Wish List.
This month’s wish list at the minute is HUGE! Along with all the vintage stuff I’ll be buying there is no way I’m going to be able to afford everything I WANT!………some items I’m really going to have to wish for, the rest shall be purchased this month along with my monthly oxford Street shopping spree, like the Acne leather jacket, AMAZING BALENCIAGA CUT OUT...
Beauty Must Haves!
I have problem skin and have since my early teens. My teens were worse but thankfully as I got older and into my uni years, the spotty crap skin, cleared up…….a bit. Every now and again I get a break out and it is only ever on my chin, round my mouth and just under my chin. And every month without fail I get the dreaded BIG BOY on my forehead. But after many years of trying...
Music and Me.
Music has always been a big part of my life, it still is, and I believe that music, whatever period or genre shapes the way for fashion, mine in particular. My dad was a 60’s child who turned 16 when the Beatles came out. Every Saturday when I was younger the TV was turned off and the 60’s hour on the radio turned on. Trips into the Lake District gave me the opportunity to rifle through...
There's a Starman Waiting in the Sky.
There’s a brand new dance, But I don’t know it’s name, That people from bad homes Do again and again, It’s big and it’s bland Full tension and fear, They do it over there But we don’t do it here…FASHION.
This gentleman needs a post of his own on my blog, because I love him. Not the love you feel for a family member or boyfriend but the same love...
'STUFF' I Wanna Say.
Pippa Middleton:
This is a subject that is really getting on my nerves. Get Pippas look, her clothes her bag………..seriously you can keep it, I don’t want it. I can’t understand why any other girl my age or her age would want to dress this way. Take her Zara blue blazer she wore the day after the wedding, if this had been teamed with a flower print tea dress and some cool boots, or...
Inspirations, Icons, Style Crushes, and People I...
These people inspire me, some are iconic, some have style I aspire to and admire….. And some are just easy on the eye.
Wardrobe Heaven.
This weekend myself and the Swede drove up to my sister’s house in Staffordshire to visit my family. My parents live way up north in a small town called Whitehaven and I’m currently in London. So it’s easier to see them when we can meet half way. Although I didn’t see my sister this weekend, she is away on holiday, hence the reason my mum and dad have been roped into babysitting duty, I did...

The Vintage Kilo Sale, London!
Today I’m off to buy my first batch of stock from the Vintage Kilo sale for a new online eBay shop, selling ladies vintage clothes that I am setting up…. So I’m armed with my camera, some cash I’ve scraped together, and my muscle for the day, who was doing all the carrying and driving, my boyfriend Chris…….otherwise known as Swede.
The queue ended up becoming huge so I’m glad we got there...
